exchange 2010 site resilience

Hi there,

A scenario;
Two sites SiteA & SiteB connected via VPN link, each has single exchange
2010 server with all roles installed. DAG the databases where SiteA active
SiteB copy.
I need to understand what will happen if the server on SiteA had a hardware
crash?
is it a matter of changing public DNS to point to SiteB or there are more
configuration required.

Hi there,

To answer that we would need more information, for example do both Exchange
Servers in each site has the same SSL cert? Meaning a simple DNS swap would
be possible?...

If not and they have different access urls, then more than DNS would need to
change, although Outlook internally should continue to work.
