I would like to know if anyone has succesfully implemented a share calendar
using Exchange 2003. If so, how did you do it and what protocols were you
using. I run Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 using POP3 and SMTP and would
like to know how feasible it is to implement share calendars between users.

It's quite common to create a Calendar in Public Folders, and use that as a
shared calendar, but you can't access it using POP, which will only show you
your Inbox and Sent Items folders. If you used IMAP, then you could access
the folder, but the appointments would be converted to an email message with
a link to the OWA address for the appointment. Basically, if you want to do
anything properly with Calendars, you will need to use Outlook, but not in
POP or IMAP mode.
