Setting the alias on mail-enabled public folders by a script
(too old to reply)

I can create new public folders via a script. Including mail-enabling, and
setting the address book display name - I just need to be able to set the
alias of the public folder but so far I haven't been able to find where it's
set / read from! Can anyone help?

Cheers,
Mike

Hi there,

Right once the Public Folder is mail enabled it will be visible under
Microsoft Exchange System Objects. This is under the Domain partition (if
you're looking in ADSIEdit, or via LDAP).

Once you find the Public Folder, you need to change the 'MailNickName'
attribute. This specifies what the Alias is.

I hope that helps,

Oliver

That sounds perfect - I'll post back once I've had a chance to try it out!

Thanks,
Mike
